Intel Global IoT DevFest Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the Internet of Things Talk
07 November 2017 - 08 November 2017 2932
In November 2017 I gave a talk at the Intel Global IoT DevFest on the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the Internet of Things, as part of my role as an Intel Software Innovator, presenting live from the Lisbon, where I attended WebSummit to demo the Artificial Intelligence Assistants A.I E-Commerce Store and TASS project.
Intel Software and With the Best joined forces to bring you real-world IoT development tips, tutorials and best practices from IoT experts and innovators worldwide!
ABSTRACT
This talk looks at the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the Internet of Things. The goal is to show how intelligent cloud services are currently being used in the Internet of Things to analyse data and maximise the performance and efficiency of IoT networks, and also how A.I and Machine Learning can be used on devices and on the edge to create intelligent devices and networks that do not require cloud services. In addition to data analysis, the talk covers the use of natural linguistics being used to manage and monitor IoT networks, and also how computer vision and facial recognition can help to massively enhance the Internet of Things, increasing automation and creating more efficient smart environments. To demonstrate use cases of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in IoT, the talk includes information about projects that I have worked on, as well as a short video demonstrating these technologies in use.
